OK chaps, here's the write up on the reunion, I'm sorry it's not up to Hugh's standards but maybe Roger Brickwood would like to add something - I've copied him in on this.

Reunion 2007-07-07
Well it started quietly enough, there was some sort of football match on the TV that everyone seemed interested in, but once that was over I caught up with Roger Brickwood and we proceeded to show an appreciation of the beer offered by this fine hostelry. So much so we were still ‘appreciating’ it when Richard Baldry arrived with his lovely chauffeur (Aina) to transport us to the venue. Slight panic ensued whilst we finished our pints (and had another) prior to changing and heading off to ‘the do’.
The turnout this year was a little disappointing as there were fewer than 40 of us attending, which of course meant a quieter night. The meal was excellent – reminiscent of our dinners at school – not! The usual toasts followed and by way of a change Bill Billing did not have a long list of items.
At the end of the evening we (Roger Richard and I) retired to the Railway Hotel in Sawbridgeworth and partook of the alcoholic beverages available to us. At some point – I don’t remember when, Richard and Aina took their leave; Roger and I had a drink to mark the occasion! We (Roger and I) took a couple more then decided it was time for bed; Roger left the bar, as did I, almost! I got as far as the stool the night manager was sitting on and decided that one more wouldn’t go amiss. Some 2 hours later I eventually made my way to bed having consumed several more scotches!
In the morning I dragged my self down for a FULL ENGLISH breakfast that I had really been looking forward to, but could only manage scrambled eggs. Roger breezed in – and I hate him for this - proceeded to demolish the FULL ENGLISH that I had been looking forward to!
I’m sorry that this is not up to the standard that Hugh normally provides but I was too busy drinking to take notes AND I forgot to take my camera with me!!

Well done Phil - thanks very much. If Michael Dykes has (eventually) got his computer sorted out and reads this, would he be kind enough to send me the minutes from the meeting, I will add those to the blog as well!
